グリム童話『青髭』を元に創られる童話と現代が重なるダークメルヘン劇。

青髭公の城にやってきた盲目の少女ユディット。
「見ること」「見えないこと」「見過ぎてしまったこと」「見てはいけないこと」「見せてくれないこと」「見たくないこと」「見せられてしまうこと」
『見る』をテーマに演劇の魔法をふんだんに織り交ぜて劇は展開する。
この日、“倉庫”は“劇場”となり、“劇場”は“青髭公の城”となり、“青髭公の城”は私たちのよく知る“日本”となる。

Bluebeard’s Invisible Castle

A dark fairy-tale play in which a story inspired by the Grimm fairy tale “Bluebeard” overlaps with the modern world.
A blind girl named Judith arrives at Bluebeard’s castle.
“To see,” “not to see,” “to have seen too much,” “what must not be seen,” “what is not shown,” “what one does not wish to see,” and “what one is forced to see.”
With “seeing” as its central theme, the play unfolds, richly interwoven with the magic of theatre.
On this day,
a warehouse becomes a theatre,
the theatre becomes Bluebeard’s castle,
and Bluebeard’s castle becomes the Japan we know so well.
